Every team already has the context an assistant needs. It is in the channel where the decision was argued out, the issue nobody closed, the call where the renewal wobbled. The reason AI tools still feel like clever strangers is not that they are not clever — it is that they start every conversation knowing nothing about you.
Indexbrain is an attempt at the other shape: a teammate that sits where the work already happens, reads the tools you already pay for, and does a job end to end — the write-up, the prep, the chase, the report — then tells you where every line came from.
You ask in Slack, the way you would ask anyone else. It does the work in the tools you connected, names what it read, and holds anything that would leave your workspace until a person says yes.
That last part is the whole design. An assistant that cannot act is a search box. One that acts without asking is a liability. We have spent most of our time on the line between those two, and on making it a line you set rather than one we chose for you.

The context already exists
Nobody needs to write their company down for an assistant. It is already in Slack, in the tracker, in the CRM, in last week's call. The work is reaching it, not recreating it.
Access without permission is not a feature
Every connection starts read-only, every action is its own setting, and anything that leaves your workspace waits for a person. There is no auto-approve mode to find.
Say what it cannot do
Our security page names the certifications we do not hold and the tools where per-item permissions are not possible. A product that only lists its strengths is asking you to find the rest yourself.
No invented proof
You will not find a customer logo wall, a testimonial or a statistic on this site, because we do not yet have ones that are real. When we do, they will have names attached.
Where we are
Early, and saying so. Indexbrain is a young product being built in the open with the people using it. Some of it is further along than the rest — the parts we are least sure of are the ones we write about on the blog, and the limits we know about are on the security page rather than left for you to find.
